Does EMRA recognise race licences from NASA? I have a friend who recently obtained a NASA race licence and is interested in racing in our EMRA meets.

    Yes.
    Emra recognizes NASA licenses.
Everyone needs to purchase a yearly or temp EMRA license as well.
    Thanks

Does EMRA verify that such persons can indeed safely race at our events? Is there a verification process for new racers with credentials from other clubs, or is the assumption that what's good for another club is good for EMRA?

SCCA & NASA licenses are scrutinized enough that EMRA
is confident that they would not get one if they were not qualified.

Other organizations licenses are on an individual basis.

Novice Licenses are looked into further to be allowed
    a temp EMRA license.

    Hopefully this assures you enough.
