Where's the best place to stay near Summit Point?

It's my first time there, I don't want to guess by picking someplace random from Google Maps...

If you're approaching from the west (I-81)you can find good motels at exit 315 - Winchester - Virginia Rt 7). From there the track is only about 15 minutes away. Those are fairly new motels (except for Shoney's which seems to be a local family vacation spot--pool, kids and noise but the restuarant opens at 6AM) -- I usually opt for cheap so I go to exit 310 (under $40). Approaching from the east there are a few motels on Rt 340 just before you enter Charles Town proper--also 15-20 minutes from the track.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn express last year, rooms were good & breakfast included in the morning. Food was good. Only 2-3 miles from the track. If i remember the rooms were $120.00 per night.
