I have heard that it is now a state requirement in NJ that all helmets be full face with a shield in place. The code from NJ 13:62-3.6 clearly states the full face helmet requirement. If this is true, we need to make sure it is communicated ahead of time, especially to TT drivers who often drive with open face helmets.

2011 will start a new 5 year certification cycle and at least in the recent past there has been a 1 year grace period for replacing 10 year old helmets. I believe I've read that the SCCA (sorry SCCA, I haven't kept up my membership) is granting such a grace period for this coming season. Will EMRA be doing so as well?

M rated helmets are ok for TT---SA are required for sprints/enduros
